Terms of use
These terms govern access to kerngo.com and general use of Kerngo information and services unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
Owner and scope
Kerngo is presented by Business Intelligence Marketing LLC. These terms apply to website access, demo requests and general product information. Paid services, trials, enterprise deployments or integrations may be governed by additional agreements.
Product nature
Kerngo is an intelligent server management solution for diagnosis, guided investigation, controlled automation, playbooks, approvals, alerts and audit trails. It is designed to support technical teams, not to replace professional administration or human review in critical operations.
Authorized use
Users may use Kerngo only on servers, systems, accounts and infrastructure where they have sufficient authorization. Any use for unauthorized access, abuse, disruption, credential theft, malware, evasion or unlawful activity is strictly prohibited.
Controlled automation
Kerngo is designed around predefined actions, risk policies, execution limits, confirmation flows and auditability. Users remain responsible for configuring permissions, credentials, playbooks, approval rules and risk thresholds appropriate to their environments.
Human confirmation
Certain actions may require human approval depending on risk level or customer configuration. Users must review proposed actions, expected impact and rollback considerations before approving operational changes.
Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for backups, access control, environment configuration, monitoring, legal compliance, incident response decisions and validating that proposed actions are appropriate for their systems.
Engine configuration and safeguards
Kerngo includes configurable operating modes, risk policies, allowed actions, execution limits, confirmation requirements and playbooks. The customer is solely responsible for configuring the Kerngo engine according to its infrastructure, business continuity requirements, backup strategy, tolerance for risk and internal approval procedures.
Backups and loss of data
Customers must maintain independent, tested and restorable backups before enabling any operational automation or approving any action that could affect files, databases, services, configuration or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Intelligence Marketing LLC is not responsible for loss, corruption, deletion, unavailability or alteration of data caused by customer configuration, approved actions, insufficient backups, excessive permissions, third-party systems, infrastructure failures or use of Kerngo outside recommended safeguards.
Approved actions
When a user approves an action, enables an automated playbook or configures an action as low-risk, the user confirms that it is authorized, appropriate for the affected system and compatible with its own operational policies. Kerngo may provide explanations, warnings or recommendations, but the final operational decision remains with the customer.
Critical environments
Kerngo must not be the only control protecting critical production environments, regulated systems, healthcare, financial, emergency, industrial, safety-critical or high-availability infrastructure. Customers must maintain independent monitoring, change management, rollback procedures, access controls and disaster recovery measures.
Credentials and access
Users must protect credentials, tokens, SSH keys, API keys and administrative accounts. Business Intelligence Marketing LLC is not responsible for consequences caused by compromised credentials, excessive permissions or incorrect customer configuration.
Prohibited conduct
Users must not bypass security controls, overload the service, interfere with other users, attempt unauthorized access, copy non-public features, resell access without authorization or use the service to create harmful automation.
Availability and changes
Business Intelligence Marketing LLC may improve, modify, suspend or discontinue website features, plans, documentation or non-contractual product descriptions. Service commitments are binding only when expressly included in a signed agreement or applicable order.
No absolute guarantee
Kerngo may reduce investigation time and operational repetition, but no software can guarantee detection of every incident, prevention of every outage or error-free remediation. Users must maintain independent operational safeguards.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Intelligence Marketing LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of revenue, business interruption, loss of data, loss of backups, loss of goodwill, infrastructure downtime or damages resulting from unauthorized use, incorrect configuration, insufficient safeguards, actions approved by the user, customer-created playbooks or third-party systems. Any liability that cannot be excluded will be limited to the amount actually paid for the affected service during the period allowed by the applicable agreement or mandatory law.
Confidentiality
Non-public technical, commercial, security or operational information exchanged in demos, trials or projects must be treated as confidential unless it is public, independently developed or lawfully obtained from another source.
Termination or restriction
Access may be suspended or restricted when there is suspected abuse, security risk, violation of these terms, legal requirement or risk to the service, customers or third parties.
